Criteria
My personal criteria for ‘hope’ as it pertains to this tumblr started out as: timely (within the last month or so) & effective (actual change or movement, or serious prediction of change for the better). However, recognizing that claiming previously-overlooked or under-reported history is important work for change, I have loosened that criteria.
I’m still working on criteria for ‘progress,’ beyond recognizing it where I see it, and noting that I have a strong bias toward social justice work in general. Suggestions welcome.
More importantly, if you see something that fits *your* criteria for ‘hope in progress,’ please submit it here!
